I live in a quiet home with my husband and my son Adrián, surrounded by nature, two dogs, two cats, and some magical beings that wink at me hidden among the plants in the garden and that occasionally appear in an illustration. When I was little, with a mind overflowing with fantasy and imagination, I looked out into my surroundings looking for that magic, convinced that it was hidden among trees and roots or in the attic of an old Castilian house. But as I grew up, that world was fading and becoming more conventional; university studies, city life, office work,… But my soul had other plans for me, and my life began to turn: travel, love, adventures, personal growth, spirituality, nature, art, motherhood … And today, from the sum of all my experiences, from the strength and creativity that I discover every day in my family, in my love and respect for nature, I reconnect with that world of magic and possibilities that I looked at as a child. From there comes the story of “La Semilla”, which also gives me the possibility of accompanying my son, and all those who want to see this story, in learning the values of life and human qualities, and to invite through the beauty and delicacy of the illustrations at the natural rhythm of childhood. I create the stories from my imagination, with feelings or sensations that pass to the brush and come to life in the drawing. The publication of this story, after a process of learning and growth, allows me to share a part of my inner world.
