“¡Mi corazón en el tuyo!
¿Y qué más?
La rosa en mi corazón. –
¿Y qué más?
La hojita nueva en la rosa. –
¿Y qué más?
El agua en la hojita nueva. –
¿Y qué más?
…El cielo azul en el agua.”
Juan Ramón Jiménez
Spring has arrived in the first cycle: everything has started to grow! The tree that was difficult to climb is now a piece of cake, the stories and books that we read in fits and starts now flow like a docile torrent. The garden has burst into colors, shapes and fruits that sweeten our mornings. In the garden space we have planted some sunflower seeds that we have been caring for and observing daily for three weeks. To our surprise, it has not been all a piece of cake. Once our seeds grew, we were surprised that some docile inhabitants of our garden liked the leaves of our sunflowers so much that they did not leave even one. We began to observe and imagine how to help our plants. And with ideas from everyone in the group, we created a tall castle surrounded by ashes to keep snails away from our sunflowers. And what a result! At the moment they continue to grow healthy, unfolding all their leaves towards the sun. And we are full of confidence that in the event of something unexpected we can solve it to continue growing.
